Hi Everyone!
Knowing how much fun we've all had discussing plans for the past family reunions, we created this blog so that everyone can post their questions, preferences and concerns in one central location.
Please review the property spreadsheet that was sent via email, then blog away!
Love,
Steve and Dawn

ReplyDeleteThis survay tool was really cool. Thanks for setting that up Dawn and Steve.
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea! Thanks for setting it up!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Glad it's working out. We were just looking at the early results of the survey and there were some questions about some of the areas. One person asked about kid-friendly activities in Vegas. Off the top of our heads, we liked the property itself because of the pool, BBQ area, and whatnot. We also thought we could spend some time at the Wet & Wild water park on the strip and at Circus Circus. We'll look into it further and see if there are other kid-friendly things to do. If anyone knows of other kid-friendly activities in Vegas, please post them.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Kauai goes, we thought that it might be good to make it a longer reunion. For example, if we went for five or six nights, then we could plan some of the time as stay-at-home time, and part of the trip as come and go as you please, time. However, we didn't take into account the folks who might only be able to zip in for a day or two. That would be a really big expense if that were to happen.
I tend to like one of the San Diego possibilities. Its is nice and warm there and lots of fun things to do in the area without having to cross the Pacific ;)

How do people feel about North Carlolina: they have some nice monstrous houses, and the water would be warm too: http://www.twiddy.com/homes/4x4/ocean-beach/the-mark-twain.aspx
